It’s sad to admit that visiting Leavesden Studios for the Harry Potter tour was such an emotional experience for me (aka crying actual tears), but growing up as a huge Harry Potter fan and then getting to see where the magic happened in person will do that to you. Being in the presence of these costumes, sets, and props and seeing it all with my own eyes was an experience I will cherish forever, and I just wanted to share my favorite moments. And as embarrassing as it is, I now have pictures and videos of me flying on a broomstick around Hogwarts and London. No shame. They also have an amazing gift shop to browse, from which I purchased a Gryffindor scarf and my very own Time Turner (one of my all-time favorite props from the movies). If you love Harry Potter, you have to get to London to do this tour.
My other Harry Potter-related bucket list items include riding the Jacobite Steam train in Scotland (real life Hogwarts Express), visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Hollywood (coming Spring 2016 woo!!), attending the newly announced Christmas dinner at the Great Hall in Leavesden Studios, and seeing the Harry Potter play that comes out in July 2016 called Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (the eighth chapter in the Harry Potter series).
